Monday Funday

Who knew a Monday could be so fantastic?! I had the day off since I worked this past weekend (CRAZY weekend with the babies ended with a great McAlister's night with my NICU girls).  My friend Ashley took the day off work and came down to spend the day with me! I am SO glad she did.  I was just telling my mom about how on my days off, I have been doing a whole lot of nothing.  I clean and do our errands, but not a lot of my friends have days off during the week like I do with my weirdo nurse schedule so it's hard see my friends like when we were at Purdue.

We started off the day by going to P.F Chang's for lunch (lettuce wraps YUM!) and made our way to Keystone Mall to do some shopping for baby Hill! Ashley is due with their first baby this coming June and I couldn't be happier for her and Matt! Her little baby bump is just too cute for words.  She doesn't find out until next week whether they are having a little boy or girl, so our baby shopping was limited to what we could find that didn't matter the gender.

Our shopping trip that started out all for baby Hill quickly turned into a big girl shopping day when we saw a "40% off your entire purchase" sign at all of the Gaps (Gap, GapBaby, GapMaternity, GapBody)!  Ash got some super cute mommy tops and I surprised myself by only getting one top at Gap.

We came home and made homemade pizza and she started her trek back up to Lafayette.  I am so happy she came down today :).

Tonight, I am catching up on my shows and having Jax rest on my lap to recuperate from his surgery.  He has really been doing well since the surgery.  He doesn't seem to be in any pain, but I still try and keep him calm.  It doesn't work too well...

On a sad note, I am thinking of and praying for a very special family in their loss they experienced today.  My heart aches for them and I pray for their healing.
