Matt's family's annual camping trip got a little upgrade this year...we bought a pop-up camper! I brought it up randomly (but in the sense of "let's rent one for the weekend") and apparently that little bug in Matt's ear went a long way. We got a great deal on one that was barely used and had a much better experience than tent-camping! I was a little hesitant on buying it, but I really am glad we did. We can hopefully take it out once this Fall and then we'll be able to use it next Summer and beyond too!
Camping is Bear's favorite. He was made for it. And seeing as how his dad was made for it as well, they make a pretty cute pair. He just LOVES being outside and kept talking about "the campsite" (the camper). The place we camp has a couple playgrounds, we did lots of bonfires, awesome meals, a day of water balloons, and just getting to be with family! He was in heaven. He was so happy the entire time that he just galloped everywhere. Galloped and smiled so huge the whole weekend. Remind me of this every time I start to dread going camping :).
