This little babe is growing like a weed! And so is my stomach :). I love being pregnant, everything about it. Especially knowing he's safe in there, tucked away and happy as a clam. I remember when Bear was born I had moments of sadness that he wasn't still inside where I could keep him protected. I'm sure it'll be a lifelong struggle :).
We are sitting strong at 27 weeks! He's been moving and grooving in there for a few weeks now-I started feeling pretty strong movements around 20 weeks or so, but in these past couple weeks they have gotten bigger and stronger! You can see him pushing little tiny body parts out from just watching my stomach and has moments where he's pretty wild. He likes to hang out on my lower left side or upper right side usually, and moves the most when he's up at the top! It's so cute to feel little body parts pushing around in there, I LOVE it so much. Matt felt him moving around 22 weeks and around 23 weeks, B actually felt him kick too! We were sitting in his recliner reading for bed and the baby was moving a lot so I had him put him hand there. He was so patient and just kept his little hand on my belly until he felt a little kick! He said "he kicked me! My baby brother kicked me!" and then proceeded to talk to my stomach saying, "Kick me baby brother, kick me". So sweet.
I've been feeling really good! Maybe even better than weeks 16-20 or so when I was having a lot of round ligament pain, aches and pains in my hips, and braxton hicks (who knows what was up with that). My hips still hurt here and there, but overall I feel pretty great! Normal self with a huge basketball under my shirt :). I've still been teaching BodyPump 1-2 times per week and have gone down in my weight in a few tracks and am starting to skip out on the ab track moves. Sleep has been ok, I probably end up sleeping on my back more than I should, but I do make sure to fall asleep on my side and get back there throughout the night whenever I wake up for any reason.
We had a great ultrasound and got to see him wiggling in there. He measured one day ahead (19+1 at 19 weeks) and 11 oz. We brought B with us and although he thought it was neat to see him, he was more interested in the endless supply of food and snacks we brought to keep him entertained :).
Our friend's had their little man in November and we loved getting to meet him!
I have no real complaints and hope we can continue with a healthy and full term pregnancy! Hopefully the holidays don't make the rest of the time fly by, we have a lot of stuff to do before he arrives! Keep growing, baby boy! :) Bump pics!
