Over Memorial Day weekend, we went up to Lake Michigan to my grandparent's house. I was so excited for Barrett's first trip to the beach! I always love spending time with my family, we have such a blast.
On Saturday, we stopped at my Aunt and Uncle's on the way in to town. It was perfect timing because all of my cousins were in town so we were all able to be together! It was Barrett's first time meeting all of them so it was so special for everyone to be there.
Then we made our way to my grandparent's house. We all grilled out and then us girls went for a walk that evening. The weather was absolutely beautiful! Later that night, we played some Euchre and ate cookies. Barrett got in lots of snuggles with everyone!
On Sunday, we got up and had yummy pancakes and breakfast casserole. Sunday was also beach day! We got everything packed up (wow, there is a lot to pack for a baby!) and made our way down. We had a little tent where we kept Barrett. He was a little mad when we first got down there because he was ready for a nap, but once he relaxed in the tent (after momma held and bounced him :) ) he was as happy as a clam! He took a cat nap and then just played in there. It wasn't too hot and there was a nice breeze so it was perfect for him!
